An annual review of airworthiness/100hr check has just been completed successfully. All equipment has been very well maintained and cared for, with annual review of airworthiness checks being carried out by Andy Nicholson, New-Zealand CAA approved LAME (Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer).
The balloon was manufactured initially for tethered flights to promote a Children's Newspaper in Hong Kong (hence 3 Chinese characters on the envelope reading "Children's Daily").
The balloon was then purchased by a Hong Kong based New Zealander, however was flown on New Zealand soil.
The third and current owner has owned the balloon for 15 years. The balloon has relatively low hours: 33.00 tethered hours and a flight time of 74.29 hours. Can carry up to 3 people in the appropriate conditions. The current owner has had this balloon since 1998. It is a great responsive balloon suited to either a novice or experienced Balloonist.

I have decided to sell this envelope to make way for a new balloon I am about to build. The envelope is in excellent condition and with Pilot +1 the fuel burn rate is around 0.65L/m. I am being particular about who the aircraft is sold to in light of its experimental certification.
The envelope is able to be flown over any commercially available basket/burner/tanks combo which has a current annual. The aircraft will be sold with all build documentation and full maintenance manual which allows it to be maintained by any MA holder.

Air Vistas Pty Ltd (ABN 42 140 586 858) trading as Wine Country Ballooning
USA built / 5.5hp / adjustable tilt / small and compact = $550 each.
Also have a smaller 5.0 hp available at $500.
Suitable for small sport balloons up to 77.
Located about 1hr away from Melbourne.
Stainless steel frame and wooden propeller.
Only used 5 times, as good as new.
I received it only a few months ago. I need a smaller and lighter fan as a 9hp fan is too heavy and more than what I need for my balloon, (it is a 71). I am looking to either swap or sell it for a reasonable offer.
I'm happy to swap for a smaller fan in good condition, or will sell this for $3,000.
I am after a 3.5 or 5hp inflation fan. The 11hp one that I have is just too big for my hoppers.
